Nasal polyp:

Nasal polyp are soft, painless, non cancerous growth from nasal passage or sinuses. They look like tear drop or grape like. They are due to any allergic condition, Infections, asthma, drug sensitivity, disorders of immunity.

Symptoms like running nose, persistent stuffiness, loss of smell, headache, snoring.

Epistaxis:

Nasal bleeding is epistaxis.

Homeopathic remedies for Nasal polyp and Epistaxis:

Calcarea carbonica:

Catarrhal Condition of nose. Nose bloacled due to nasal polyp. The polyp of sinus mucosa, submucus growth. Patient have tendency to catch cold very easily and cold settles in nose. The area looks like reddish in colour, glistening due to venous congestion.

Frequent and profuse nose bleeding. Almost faintness, especially from right nostrils usually at morning.severe headache which is congestive type. Patient is very sensitive to cold and has tendency to sweat profusely at nape of neck which wets the pillow.

Teucrium marum:

Inflammation of middle turbinate with fibrosis due to repeated attack of nasal inflammation. Part is congestive due to marked blood supply and venous drainage to the part. Blockage of the nostrils.

Discharge is large, irregular, drinkers. Foul breath, crawling in nostrils, with lacrymation and sneezing coryza with stoppage of nostrils.

Kreosotum:

Bleeding from the nose is acrid and with excoriating coryza. Offensive smell from nasal discharge. Bleeding is black and thick tenacious. Acrid rawness in the nasal mucous membrane. Dull pain in head, especially frontal region. Sensation as if a board pressing against head.

Lemna minor:

Indicated remedy for Nasal polyp, swollen turbinate, atrophic rhinitis. Inflammation of nasal membrane and nasal septum. Nasal discharge is due to congestion of mucous membrane and excessive blood supply to the parts. Loss of smell. Post nasal dropping.  Dryness of nasopharynx.

Phosphorus:

Nasal bleeding usually in morning or while straining at stools. Epistaxis instead of menses. Patient is oversenstioveto smell. Periostitis of nasal bone. Nasal polypi pedunculated usually at right medial side of nasal septum.  Patient who need phosphorus are allergic to dust and pollen grains that initiate the attack of sneezing and rhinitis. Bright red colour blood oozing from nostrils.

Hamamelis virginica:

Venous congestion and haemorrhage from any orifice. Nasal bleeding is profuse, flow is passive, non coagulable, with tightness in the bridge of nose, bad odour. Violent itching and burning.
