Cervical spondylosis:

Affection to disc or joint of cervical spine is called cervical spondylosis. It is an neck arthritis.

Causes:

Homeopathic management for cervical spondylosis:

Spigelia:

Painful numbness in neck region extends to left arm. Tingling sensation in the fingers. Parts are very sensitive to touch. Pain of sharp stitching type. Violent throbbing pain aggravates on lying on back. Neuralgic type of headache with stiffness of neck and shoulders.

Ruta:

Here periosteum was affected. Fusion of two cervical bones causes mechanical pressure on the afferent nerves. Pain like electric shock on moving. Bruised feeling all over the arm as from the blow. Stitching type of pain in scapular region when sitting.

Ledum palustre:

Pain like sharp starts from fingers and then extends to upwards to shoulder and then neck, due to lack of vascular supply of a segment to cord.

Arnica Montana:

Neuralgic pain in upper extermity, weakening spastus muscles, cervical spondylosis is due to mechanical trauma. Sensation of crawling in the vertebral column. Vertigo due to compression of the nerve root.

Aconitum napellus:

Numbness and tingling sensation in upper extermities, fingers and wrist joint. Sensation of coldness along the course of cervical vertebrae. Sensation of insect is creeping on back and shoulders. Painful stiffness in neck region. Pain down the arm. Prickling and tingling sensation in arm muscles.

Gelsemium:

Numbness and dull pain with weakness in both arms. Loss of muscular control. Pain from neck region extends to above and downwards, towards temporal and the arms.vertigo starts at occiput. Sensation of tight bandage around the neck. Heaviness of head. Pain in temporal region extends to ears.

Theridion:

Tingling sensation with great sensitivity between both scapulae. Vertigo on sitting erect. Stitching pain in cervical region. Severe headache worse on walking over floor. Nausea, vomiting.
