Boils with Homeopathic Management

Boils:

Boils or Furuncle are skin infection that appears under hair follicles or oil glands. Skin appears as red, infected with pus collection. It starts at hair follicle or oil gland.

Mostly it occurs on Face, buttox, armpit, shoulder, etc. It will be painful to touch. It mostly occurs due to infected Hai follicles.

Incidence :

More than 1 million cases in India per year. Both sex are commonly affected.

Homeopathic management for Boils:

Graphites:

Unhealthy skin with voilent itching, burning worse at night. Boils are indurated hard, hot bleeds on touch with burning sensation. Sticky fluid with pungent odour marks the remedy.

Psorinum:

Skin appears as dirty, dry, lustreless with multiple boils all over the body. Eczematous Eruption and boils with foetid discharge. Offensive discharge. Boils are due to excessive secretion of sebum, appears as rough, dirty, and look unhealthy.

Belladonna:

Skin inflammed with red patches, later changes to bluish, sensation of burning and is hot smooth and shining, yellowish patch in the middle of the area. Boils are very much sensitive to touch and tender.

Fluoric acid:

Boils appears on all over the body so that skin appears as oedematous which is non pitting type. sensation as itching around the parts of boils, hard and tender to touch.

Hepar sulphur:

Localized inflammatory boils with sharp stitching type of pain. Boils are due to invasion of foreign body. Discharge smell like old cheese, very sensitive to touch.

Silicea:

Boils are hard nodular and indurated and have got inflammatory tendency.

Mercurius Sol:

Boils usually on metatarsals, also at corners of the mouth, in folds of joints, and in corners of eyelids. Stinging pains like sensation.

Arsenicum album:

Multiple boils on different parts of body. Boils are sore lame and bruised as if beaten. Discharges are thin and acrid. Inflammation with low grade fever with chill. Excoriating discharge.
