What is Supression – by H.A Robert

Supression means “To press down forcibly”. It is a process by which the disease forcibly removing by any mean which diverse the disease manifestation from less important organ to more important organs.

Supression is divided into :-

1. Natural Supression ( Supressed by natural disease).

It is caused by natural affection. Eg :- Cold exposure, Fright, Fear, Loss of loved ones, Business failure, etc.

2. Artificial Supression ( Supressed by external application or Supressed by Medicine).

It is divided into :-

A. By External application

B. By Internal harmful disease

Eg. At Dr. Hahnemann period for cholera infantum the child suffered with hydrocephalic head due to opium given by allopathic physicians. These leads to internal harmful diseased

C. By supressing the natural chronic disease.

Eg. Dr.Hahnemann told, if you supress skin disease ” the psora will goes to the level of latent psora and finally the latent psora will produce secondary manifestation of symptoms.

D. Surgical removal

Eg. Removal of Gall bladder – In this condition patient cannot able to eat spicy food. They leads to constipated stool.
